2.在中国办理英国签证的续签相比起来，在英国办理英国签证的续签比在国内办理相对简单和方便。

英国境内续签如果在英国的学习计划还没有结束，签证到期，建议在英国办理续签，因为这样比较直接和方便。

在英国办理续签需要的材料如下：

1、 护照

2、2张照片

3、续签申请表可以在www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk下载

4、警局注册信

5、近1个月的银行对帐单bank statement

6、学校的在读证明，如果在读的课程即将结束，则需提供下一课程的录取通知。注意，下一课程的录取通知必须是无条件的。对于有条件的录取通知，必须提供已经满足该条件的证明。

7、语言和预科学生还需要提供出勤记录，还有在读期间的成绩单

如果自己亲自递交续签申请，资料齐全，一般当天可以获得签证。

可以接受续签申请的地点如下：

1.英国内政部：在Croydon市，可以在伦敦的维多利亚火车站Victoria Station乘火车去East Croydon ，下车后步行约5分钟即可到内政部。

2.伯明翰移民处：Birmingham Immigration Office，Dominion Court，41 Station Road，Solihull，Birmingham B91 3RT。

3.利物浦移民处：Liverpool Immigration office，Reliance House，2 Water Street，LiverpoolL2 8XU。

4.格拉斯哥移民处：Glasgow Immigration Office，Dumbarton Court，Argyll Avenue，Glasgow Airport，Paisley PA3 2TD。

5. 贝尔法斯特移民处：Belfast Immigration Office，Olive Tree House，Fountain Street，Belfast BT1 5EA。续签不管成功与否材料原件通常都会被退回，但有时home office会保留在读证明，语言的出勤证明等。

一国内办理英国签证续签如果不得不回国办理续签，需要的材料跟在英国续签大致一样，但是用的申请表不一样，可以在英国驻中国使馆网站上下载。

但是同时也要提供资金的来源和历史说明及资金担保人的工作证明，跟第一次签证时候提交的资金情况证明材料差不多。

在任何情况下都一定要在签证到期之前申请续签。曾经有一个学生自己没有留意签证的有效期，等发现的时候签证已经过期，当即被送到移民局，然后被遣返回国。

后来在国内费了很大的周折还请了英国的律师才重新申请签证成功。学生对于这番经历是不敢回想的。所以一定要注意护照上的签证有限期，尽量在签证到期前递交续签申请，如果有材料来不及提交的话，要附上一封解释信，说明缺少了什么材料，缺少的原因和什么时间会补交。

续签申请也有可能被拒签。通常的拒签原因如下：

1. 没有按照学习计划进入全日制课程学习

2. 出勤率不够

3. 频繁更换课程

4.没有足够的资金
